A Deadly Package!

This morning a Deadly package arrived through the post! Well actually it was a package of ‘Deadly’, the latest book from the team that brought you Poo!

Written by Nicola Davies and illustrated by Neal Layton, Deadly: The Truth About The Most Dangerous Creatures on Earth is published by Walker Books in November and should be available from all good bookshops and libraries soon…

 

 

The Chimes

The gallery is above Southsea Library, so if you enjoyed the show why not pop downstairs and read one of Dickens’ books first hand – or visit his birthplace museum in Portsmouth.

Beyond Dickens

Beyond Dickens, an exhibition of artists’ books opens tonight in Portsmouth.

My book, made in response to Dickens’ ‘The Chimes’, is in a limited edition of five. A version of it will also be available for free download soon at my website.

Stanley’s Stick has been selected for the AOI’s Images 36: Best of British Illustration Exhibiton!

 

The exhibition presents the winning work of over 50 artists from the length and breadth of the UK, who entered the AOI’s flagship competition, Images. To coincide with the show, an accompanying book Images 36: Best of British Illustration 2012 will also be launched. The book brings together the shortlisted 350 artworks and profiles from 240 illustrators, including those featured in the exhibition, as well as an editorial section with a series of specially commissioned essays by cultural commentators.

After Somerset House, the Images 36 exhibition begins a national tour continuing into 2013.
Venues confirmed so far include Blackpool & Fylde College, Swansea Metropolitan University, Middlesex University and University for the Creative Arts, Maidstone.
